The Unicorn was Lot 8 | Phillips Daytona Ultimatum was a 32-watch thematic sale curated by Pucci Papaleo with Aurel Bacs at the rostrum. The Unicorn was Lot 8. Phillips's lot essay framed the watch as the authentic sole white gold 6265; the catalogue and condition report disclosed the bracelet swap and said nothing about the dial, pushers, or bezel. The watch hammered at CHF 4,750,000, and the 25 percent buyer's premium Phillips applied in Geneva brought the all-in price to CHF 5,937,500 — about USD 5.9M at prevailing exchange. | ||
