Datejust 41 → 126334

Rolex Datejust 41 ref. 126334 with bright blue dial, fluted white-gold bezel, and Jubilee bracelet
Rolex product rendering of a current blue-dial Jubilee configuration.

Rolex added the steel-and-white-gold Datejust 41 ref. 126334 in 2017, one year after the revised 41 mm Datejust line appeared in gold and Rolesor. It pairs an Oystersteel case and bracelet with a fluted 18 ct white-gold bezel. The watch launched with Cal. 3235 and remains in Rolex’s catalogue; the company added a green lacquer ombré dial in 2026. Hodinkee’s 2017 launch report Rolex Newsroom, 2026

Core facts

detail value
reference 126334
model Oyster Perpetual Datejust 41
documented production introduced 2017; still listed by Rolex in 2026

Rolex calls the steel-and-white-gold combination White Rolesor. In this reference the case and bracelet are Oystersteel; the fluted bezel is white gold. The current specification lists a 41 mm case, 100 m water resistance and Cal. 3235. Rolex product specification

Where it sits in the line

The Datejust 41 arrived in 2016 with gold and two-tone versions. In 2017 Rolex added steel versions, including the 126334 with its white-gold fluted bezel. The related 126300 has a smooth steel bezel; the two references share the steel case and Cal. 3235 but differ in bezel material. Contemporary coverage describes the 2016 Datejust 41 as a redesign of the larger Datejust II, with slimmer case proportions and a narrower bezel. Monochrome’s 2017 comparison Hodinkee’s 2017 report

The 126334 is therefore White Rolesor, though its bracelet is steel throughout. Calling the whole watch “two-tone” can suggest gold center links that this configuration does not have.

Production outline

Fratello and Hodinkee document the 126334 at its 2017 Baselworld launch; Rolex still lists it in 2026. That establishes a documented span, while factory production boundaries remain unverified. Fratello’s 2017 launch report Hodinkee’s 2017 report Rolex’s current listing

Rolex introduced the reference with Cal. 3235. The 2019 review and present Rolex specification name the same caliber. Those records support continuity; they leave other production details unresolved. Monochrome, 2019 Rolex product specification

Movement notes

Cal. 3235 is the date-equipped automatic movement used in the Datejust 41. Rolex lists instantaneous date with rapid setting, stop-seconds, bidirectional winding, a Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers and about 70 hours of reserve. The 2017 release report already names Cal. 3235 for the 126334, and Rolex’s current listing retains it. The movement index covers the caliber’s broader lineage and technical details. Dial map

At launch, contemporary reports list black, grey, blue and white dials, with diamond-set indexes on some versions. Later records show blue Roman, blue diamond-index, grey Roman, and mint-green sunray examples. Phillips sold a circa-2023 mint-green sunray example in November 2025; this is distinct from the green lacquer ombré dial Rolex announced in 2026. Together, the launch report and later lot descriptions give dated examples, while first-use dates for individual dials remain undocumented. Rolex announced a green lacquer ombré dial in 2026. The company says it applies green lacquer to the base and sprays black lacquer in concentric passes to form the gradient. This version is a dial option within 126334, not a separately numbered reference. Rolex Newsroom, 2026

Case, bezel, crystal, and crown notes

The case measures 41 mm and uses a screw-down caseback and screw-down Twinlock crown. Rolex specifies a sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens and water resistance to 100 m. Its fluted bezel is white gold; this is the material distinction between 126334 and the smooth-bezel, all-steel 126300. Rolex product specification

Bracelets, clasps, and packaging

Rolex offered the 126334 on Oyster and Jubilee bracelets from launch. Both are Oystersteel; the current Rolex specification describes the Oysterclasp and Easylink 5 mm extension. A 2018 Rolex Forums reply identifies Jubilee 62610 and Oyster 72610 from warranty-card examples. That forum record is useful for the bracelet numbers, but it is not a Rolex parts catalogue and does not establish interchangeability with other references. Boxes, cards and hang tags belong to the individual sale set. The reviewed auction descriptions do not establish a standard reference-specific package.

Sotheby’s calls one 2022-dated grey Roman-numeral 126334 “Wimbledon.” The evidence here treats it as a dial configuration within 126334; the listing does not date its introduction or establish Rolex’s use of the name. Sotheby’s Buy Now listing

Dated market and auction records

The Sotheby’s pages are Buy Now marketplace listings. Christie’s and Phillips provide auction records. Phillips reports the completed price for lot 918; the Christie’s page identifies a 2021 guarantee-card sale but gives no result here.
