The 126710GRNR is the Oystersteel GMT-Master II with a grey-and-black Cerachrom bezel and black dial. Rolex introduced it at Watches & Wonders 2024 after the yellow-gold and Rolesor GRNR models shown in 2023. “Bruce Wayne” and “Ghost” are collector nicknames; GRNR is Rolex’s gris-noir designation for the bezel colours.

Where it sits in the line

The 126710GRNR adds the grey-and-black bezel to the steel GMT-Master II range. The 126710BLNR uses blue and black, while the 126710BLRO uses red and blue. Rolex had previously offered an all-black ceramic steel GMT-Master II as the 116710LN, discontinued in 2019.

Production outline

Rolex introduced the reference in 2024 on Oyster and Jubilee bracelet versions. Current Rolex catalogue pages continue to list the 126710GRNR; catalogue suffixes and retail prices can change by market and date. The yellow-gold and Rolesor GRNR references preceded the steel model by one year.

Movement notes

Caliber 3285 is the GMT-Master II movement used across the current platform. Rolex lists a Chronergy escapement, blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, a 70-hour power reserve, and Superlative Chronometer precision of −2/+2 seconds per day after casing. The local hour hand adjusts independently and the date changes through the GMT setting system.

Dial map

The dial is black lacquer with applied white-gold markers and Chromalight. Rolex specifies a green 24-hour hand and green “GMT-MASTER II” text. The available sources document this dial across both bracelet configurations; they do not establish a separate factory dial variant.

Case, bezel, crystal, and crown notes

The case is 40mm Oystersteel, about 11.9mm thick and 48mm lug-to-lug, with a Triplock crown, crown guards, 100m water resistance and a sapphire crystal with Cyclops. The architecture is shared with the 126710BLNR, the 126710BLRO and the left-handed 126720VTNR.

The bezel is a bidirectional 24-hour Cerachrom insert in grey and black ceramic with moulded numerals and graduations. The grey can appear darker or lighter under different lighting, but colour impressions in photographs are not a separate bezel variant.

Bracelets, end links, clasps, and packaging notes

Rolex offers the reference on Oyster and Jubilee bracelets. The current catalogue distinguishes the bracelet configurations by model suffix; the case, movement, bezel, and dial remain the same. Rolex’s standard modern presentation box and guarantee card accompany current deliveries.

Special branches

Nickname branches: “Bruce Wayne” and “Ghost”

“Bruce Wayne” and “Ghost” are informal collector names. They are not Rolex designations and do not identify separate references.

GRNR family siblings

The GRNR range also includes the 126713GRNR Rolesor and 126718GRNR yellow-gold references introduced in 2023. They share the grey-and-black bezel theme, while case metal and bracelet specifications differ.

Historical market and auction record

No auction-house lot has surfaced in the sources reviewed. It is current production, so most observed transactions are retail or secondary-market listings. Listing prices change with market, bracelet, condition, and availability; they are not a production fact.
